I've been around on red 99 server since day 2. During that time I've had the pleasure:

-Listening to the toxic community on the message boards
-Watching the players chase away new people trying the server with epic fungi twinks (grats Sickpuppy for this totally #1 here)
-Hearing the competition blaming everyone else for their problems
-Lite's 20+ attempts to form competition, then using it to RMT and gear their core only
-Cries of 'zerg' until the competition was able to recruit more, then calling it a legitimate strategy until it fell apart for them
-Watching OOC scare new players off
-People calling for 'wipe it clean' and pretending they didn't care, when those people will be playing this server long after any sane person has left (love you Tune)
-Azrael stopping any attempt at TMO raiding, then blaming Empire for chasing off competition.
-Generally the community shitting on the community, then complaining it wasn't better.

The one thing I never expected, was Empire winning the server, and the game, by waking the sleeper, then walking away/going casual. I am proud of you all.

I never got much closure when I left VZ (zek) during GoD. There would always be another expansion, more guilds, more mobs, however with Velious, it was always going to be the end of red99.

This was the ending we all deserved on live. But they managed to drag it out for years. Don't get me wrong I loved PoP, but this is better.

Salute Grandmaster Colgate, General Gongshow, El Presidente Constantine, and Beekeeper Omai (and Fistlin).

Nilly/Empire was nothing more than toxic miserably warm bodies with exceptions few and far between. the only thing OP ever accomplished was apping to the winning guild and shitting up OOC. truth bomb hurts? later nerd.
