Corporations and banks (like the big bank Ted is beholden to in regards to his career start) that seek to drive out business and/or take over such smaller businesses to grow even more powerful. These are the ones that buy politicians and the like, so to guide their administrations for the benefit of corporate empowerment. Both parties pander to this and it needs to stop!
