Thank you very much for responding to my post, offers of in game assistance, and welcoming me to the game.

I think I will create a both a Gnome Magician and a Barbarian Shaman, switching between them for testing to see which I like best. I do have some extra questions.

Gnomes can see through walls? Is this some type of racial ability?

Are the Guides in the Gnome starter city just for show? I haven't been able to get any directions from them.
