I can handle the exp death penalty, I can handle the long waits for finding groups with no lfg option or group finder, I can handle the slow ass exp, I can handle having to put everything together on your own and the long ass vague quests and having to tab out every 5 mins to check wiki for details, I can handle the punishing environment, I can handle everything in this game except not having a universal bank or auction house.

that shit is too annoying.

Some would say its a core part of the experience. Having to *trust* others. Or risk losing what you've gathered. EverQuest was very much about interacting with other players. If you didn't do it, you're gonna have a bad time. Honestly - think about it. Start a new account, try a new class?

oh hell yeah I agree totally on the trusting and having to actually work to get a group together and have it entirely based on the community in order to get anything done. However, today in 2016 after getting so used to other easy stuff in different MMOs things like I got banned for are just too annoying. Giving more ammo to the little voice in my head saying stop playing this shit theres other new better games out there. I think this ban is a sign lol at least its giving me time to dl a new MMO. you suck devs.

This.

Eq is a big world. If you use your imagination and pick a location wisely, the chance of losing your items is about 0.0001%

I will say that it's quite the rush every time you swap the fungi to an alt this way.

It just feels naughty.

Wow I didn't even think to ground transfer. I always figured they'd disappear in the time it took to switch. Thanks for this and will definitely try it out! .. if I ever get to play again.
