USB Flash Drive Not Appearing
Random question. But on my computer I can only get one USB flash drive to work on my computer. I have tried 4 other usb flash drives and none of them open up. When I stick the usb drive in my computer it auto downloads the drivers. They don't appear anywhere not even in disk manager. Any Ideas?

What version of Windows is this?
Is it somehow they're "hidden"? Have you tried them in another computer/laptop?

Is this a desktop or laptop?
If it was built from parts, the USB ports may not be connected to the motherboard.

Following on Ele's suggestion: try inserting in those other ports something with an LED, does the LED power up?

Its a laptop using windows 7. The usb ports work. I have one usb flash drive that works on all of the ports but it is only 1gb. I have tried three other usb flash drives that are bigger that do not work on this laptop or on any of the other usb ports. The larger usb flash drives work on my other computer. When I plug in the flash drives that do not work on this laptop the led does flash for 1 second then stops.

I attached a picture. When I open disk management it does not show up in the volume section, but if you look down below is says disk 1 28gbs thats the usb stick. If i click properties or any of the functions I get that error message. I obviously tried refreshing as it says in the error message. Same issue for all of the larger usb sticks that are not opening up.
