Chest's new raid thread is retarded

Tactics trickle down, so this now becomes the new defacto strat for anyone that wants to employ trackers. The envelope constantly gets pushed, and by doing so it makes the raid scene more and more absurd, more and more impossible to break into, unless of course someone wants to join Aftermath or Awakened.

I bring it up so every single raid guild can be aware of the strat and I'm the toxic one. Got it.

What makes you toxic is the way you draw your own conclusion that people are knowingly breaking rules and passing them off as facts.

Keep your own agenda out of these things. The raid scene would be much better if more guild leaders went to the table with unbiased opinions. That goes for everybody.

Where's the bias? I want to experience classic Everquest just like you. So if someone isn't in Awakened or Aftermath, when should that guild get to experience Velious content? I'm not trying to be snarky, it's a legitimate question. If your answer is "croot and contest" then there isn't much else of a conversation to have right?

The result is it sets the standard for everyone else. Now I get to tell my raiders what new crap we have to do in order to compete, which forces CSG to adopt them, and then Anon/Div, and then whomever else. We either adapt and try or just give up on that content where we can't/won't employ those strats, or just quit the server.

So back to my question, when does everyone else get to experience some velious content, because right now Phinny is sounding like a goddamn paradise compared to the extremes we're going to now.

Nobody got a free and easy walk into the high end content that was VP, during the kunark era of this server. Why would the high end content of NTOV be treated differently? Is it the lack of key requirements or easy to get out of it make it special?

The answer is yes, the lack of keys and ease of leaving the zone does make NToV special. Anybody can go, everybody wants to go. No more Trak Teeth to cockblock.

If it weren't for VP keys the whole "raid" scene likely would have evolved a bit differently.

Kill Sontalak... they want a classic progression but don't want to kill the guard to the dungeon they want to enter.

Your bias is where you directly call out Aftermath as a guild that knowingly uses illegal tactics. It's an incorrect opinion and it shapes the way casual players on this server view our guild. Have you ever been falsely accused of anything? It's not the greatest thing.

As Haynar explained, though, if someone has an unattended computer logged in and tracking, if someone else connects to that computer and also has EverQuest running on an FTEer, that constitutes two boxing. Which is already against the rules. Using a remote desktop sharing application to circumvent IP exemptions is not anything new.

I've been a part of many screen shares, on both the sharing side and the watching side, and I can say with the exception of the screen sharer getting up to use the bathroom, the screen always has a real live player behind it ready to call the pop. If you look at both of Haynar's posts he does say it is only tantamount to two boxing if there is nobody playing that character. That's not the case here. Let's move along.
