It really doesn't take much work to actually make some placeholder sound effects, and that sound decent too. Very very easily done using today's VST's, even free ones. Grabbing shit from other existing games is just lazy and wrong.

Anyway, I like the grouping concept of the game, something lost today. Downside is it's just another typical high fantasy game outside of that.
There is like 4 people developing this game....its not a studio. There are going to be a lot of placeholders.

Nah, generally around indie groups it's considered very bad form to grab assets out of other peoples/companies existing games and stick it in yours, even as "placeholders". There are just tons and tons of affordable and even free vendors for your asset needs if you can't be bothered to work on that stuff yourself. Just like the engine they are using, they went out and licensed it... if they paid for that I mean rather than yet another "placeholder" sort of deal. These guys are raking in bucks, are they actually spending it on anything development related? I've seen lots of these quick-build asset-grab games come and go, don't get your hopes up.
