Not seeing the logic in complaining about what losers we must be to be doing this, in an attempt to argue that everybody should be able to do it. We know dude. We're nuts.

Rules and mechanics can change/nerf all they want in ntov, but the same crazy people willing to go to extra lengths to do things a little better than everybody else will continue to get mobs. Currently they are guilds making up over 200 of the players wanting to raid ntov. At what point are we at equilibrium level that the correct amount of people are killing ntov? It can't be everybody.

Why don't I see any guilds other than Awakened or FA at Yelinak? It's basically a Trak engage. There are no shenanigans like training mobs around to quick pull. We coth to perma rooted dragon and do a running head/class count to race to engage it. We also fight Zlandi in his lair. Props to CSG for downing a couple of recent Klandi's.

People like to fall back on the fact that the pull/fte methods in ntov close the content off because they don't want to get involved, but let's be honest with each other here. You don't want to compete with the crew of neckbeards willing to put in extra work to secure FTE's and kills, and nobody blames you.

A rotation is the only solution that will open ntov up to everybody, but it's just not likely to happen.

How about giving a month or 6 week lockout instanced ntov so less insane people can have a go without making those rare loots too common. With instances at such a rarity the open world contest would still be a high incentive for everyone. Could lock instances based on guild name too, so anyone in that guild(s) could not avoid lockout if they were not there and request another. The only flip side is people would probably start making new guilds for their alts such is the pixel list here.

I personally loved open world content but they way it happens on this server is really quite sad and for those of us that don't want to sit staring at a screen for 16 hours an alternative (albeit a very infrequent one) would be nice.

The DKP economies would crumble.

No one has to sit at their screen for 16 hours to experience end game content.
Why dont you app to Forsaken and find out actually how easy it is to be in a raid guild? I will sponsor you as a fellow limey.

ps: instances are dumb but i wont hold that against your app sir.

Instancing is dumb, but so is becoming a flavor of the month mercenary.

Would never app to a guild where you have to have manditory attendance and loot councils. Pretty busy and active life here thus being ready to log on at any given time is not an option. Now for example I am unable to log on for another week or so. It makes me no less of a decent player nor any less capable of killing easy raid mobs of this era. I think the first expansion where raid mobs could even start to be considered difficult was late ep in pop and gates of discord. Gates was for the most part instanced. Instanced tov would probably be trivial for the guilds with bloated rosters and interchangeable alts to make a near perfect raid composition, but for the guild without that an instanced traditional crawl through ntov would be challenging and fun.

Once again 100% agree with Pokesan. It's attitudes like this at the top of the economic ladder that's LITERALLY destroying the planet. Now its ruining my P99 gaming experience too. FA/Awakened are basically the Koch Bros.

This seems like a good place to drop this reminder:

I'm not banned. It's an anon account cause certain p99 guilds are all about censorship and won't allow their members to post freely on elf simulator msg boards. It's kinda scary how prevalent it has become honestly.
