Even if it was 5 million judgement, its getting appealed...nevermind 55 million.

I'm not a Tort lawyer but I know there is some law against ridiculous numbers that don't match the case.

My friends wife had her life destroyed by a car accident malfunction and had permanently scarring surgery on her face. They sought 9 million case went on for 5 years and ended up with 750,000 after fees and the judges discretionary reduction on what is basically an "automatic" appeal.

The big judgments you nerds read are face value for the press to sex it up for the couch potatoes. Keep jerking to those numbers. She is lucky to get 500k on appeal given the success she has had as a result of the video. I'd point out the benefits, focus on the fact this only did emotional damage. That is worth MAYBE a few million at best going by other porn tape civil suit precedents.

I know a famous porn tape suit did completely go sideways and the full award of like 6 million was ordered by the judge. Rare as fuck.

Guess I'll point out the difference is Kim Kardashian released her own tape. She was involved in the distribution deal, very hush hush now, but that detail leaked years ago. Kim went on to pretend she had no part in it, but she signed on the dotted line.

Since Kim K its very difficult to give girls like Erin (who obviously don't have much talent, the world unanimously in agreement on) the benefit of the doubt.

One thing we can agree on regardless, Erin is getting gigs based on her fame from the tape. Not because she is a standout talent or a standout looker. Brooke Burke is a standout.
