also I think quake was just the most baddest ass game ever aside from EQ R99 peeeveeeepeeees and Mechwarrior 3 (the clan one)

and I don't think superhot cmpares at all even if they'd like to think it does (no juxtoposing from me) just pointing out the cream'd'crop vs the cream'd'crap

Slept on it, reinstalled PEQ and ran around Luclin/Velious for a while (holy shit I miss titanium client), gave my g/f a ring, she said yes, went out and had a nice dinner, this game is still complete shit.

hmm... maybe not so bad. They did so-so with Quake, at least they wont turn it into a browser game which imo was a mistake for Quake Live. Once they went back to stand-alone client though, they dropped support for Linux and Mac, not that I care though.

There were a lot of cheats going on with the browser version, aim bots and junk. Not as bad as BF2142 got at a few points though, where these exploits went unpatched over a year at one point, match crashing exploits to save peoples ranks etc. But Bethesda more or less actively maintained Quake, constantly trying to get rid of the cheats as best they could (and not doing bad with 500 people in at prime, more than p99red hehe). So Doom may do well.
