Depends on who you ask.

For one, I like that EQ allows you to use mechanics to skip pointless trash clears.

What I don't like is what is required to compete. I think the Mage CotHing is dumb and should be removed, and I'm pretty sure the bind spots in ToV that allow this kind of pulling should never have been allowed.

Even if they were early Velious allowable, P99 went non-classic in their Kael bind rule restriction day 1 even though that wasn't changed until late Velious. They should've just done the same thing for ToV if the evidence wasn't deemed good enough to make the change anyways.

I favor the pulls done now over clearing trash for 6 hours to kill only 4 Dragons though. Crawling through zones of trash once or twice is fine. Doing it week in and week out isn't fun. The dragon fights are more fun than the trash.
