Ya, all that. I didn't actually do the whole quest. I merely commanded one of my many servants to do the quest and MQ it up to the nearly finished point for me.

Yes I have done this for a few guildies ( for a price ! ) but the only hitch is how annoying the Armor of Zeks are to kill

If I can figure out how to solo one with a dog somehow I can actually sell a real MQ :P

Being trivial doesn't mean you can't fail (even above the built-in 5% chance). For a quest final combine it should probably be no fail though.

I'm going to have to agree with you. I don't really feel like procuring two more flawless diamonds and wrangling 30 people to make the dragon fall over knowing that a crit fail is possible even if I go max blacksmithing first.

I'd be a lot more pissed if I was one of those guys that had 3-4 fails at the metal folding step though.

I had so many fails on the folding steps early on with 170 BSing that I got fed up and maxed it at 200 - have been able to breeze through most of the tempering of the blade now.

I am sorry for your crit fail loss - that blows, my heart would pound with both of the times I have hit combine on the final part.

Hope people don't mind a late bump on this thread, but wanted to mention an observation:

Had a situation where I went down to the historian in CC (who was down). When he popped I instantly handed in my book, but ghost never spawned. I didn't realize that a guild member had done the quest immediately prior to me. I would make the assumption that both historian and ghost have a 1 hour timer, and both need to be up and ready for the quest to work.

Obviously not a bug per-se and if you're going to mess up on a step - this is the one to mess up on. Just wanted to mention it for people intend to do it back-to-back on characters. There may be a confounder, but it's a reasonable precaution.

It seems the final fight turn in spirit is not spawning with the wiki phrase and allakhazam phrase being said. I attempted to spawn him (i am on the last fight part with blood and assembled naginata) and had no luck. A guildie then did the remember garzicor phrase and that part worked for him...

You're probably typing it in wrong. Search for Nilbog's post on the topic for exact text. There's two spaces after a period in there I think?
