Melee weapon for newbie shaman

You may be able to find a super cheap ogre war maul/mace around in ec for 20 plat, but I would recommend attempting to save up closer to 150-200 plat to buy a springwood club, there arent a lot of viable options cheaper than that, that i know of, and that weapon can last you a long time, decent ratio, and stats for shm.

You can save that up easily either selling cb belts or df belts if possible, or maybe bone chips if near kurns, since you can just do that while leveling.
