Gender is also binary, again by definition as either male sex or female sex.

Do some people harbor a profound desire to be and be treated as a member of the opposite sex? Sure. Does that mean they are? No. Should others be compelled to join in the delusion? No, just as those with such inclinations should not be compelled to adhere to "social norms" so long as their behavior does not harm others.

I'll bite. This logic is flawed in that it's determined by other people.

Those who choose to assign gender to someone based on simple genetic terms do so out of personal choice. Others are equally free to use other means.

Science says males and females are basically differentiated by genetics and reproductive characteristics. But science also acknowledges hermaphrodism. Species that change sex naturally. And geneticly abnormal variants.

Basically leaving gender to be a sociological and philosophical individual choice no one person or group can theoretically enforce as strongly as a natural law for another so inclined to choose otherwise.

Your logic is in error.

I hate being lumped in with LGBQ people because I don't sexually Identify as any of those. Fine for people that do.

But really, G people and T people have nothing in common except that some are either, but none correlate.

T people don't even have much in common, but, yet people who transition and people who don't transition are lumped in the same label.
