I posted this back in March. They fixed flying kick, I am sure this is fixable. Flying kick did over 300 damage initially. Targin the Rock owned.

Monk still broken.

It's much less than 1/2 at 100 skill level on mend.

MAYBE 1/3. I will start to give track. Monks cannot solo a blue mob without luck. Period. Gear is irrelevent. Simply cannot be done. I know that's probably the melee bug, but it's miserable.

Found another major monk bug today so posting after this comment.

I am waiting until Kunark to make an iksar. Monks are still pretty horrible to play at the moment so I have quit playing mine. Rolled a Druid.

I haven't done any parses, but at level 28 mend is still about 50/50, and avoidance skills don't seem to be working right. FD works, and Instill Doubt actually seems to work better than I remember it(though with mob run speed it is mainly only useful for a small bandage break). The bottom line is that if you want to play a monk, play one. If you want to min/max, though, you'd probably have more fun as a necro or mage.

They seriously need to fix Mend not working 100% and monk avoidance.

My skill at mend is now at 53...Or very close to and the ratio that it fails, damages me, and a success seems to be close to original. I do remember at a certain point mend and FD would never fail.

PS. everyone wanted answers and I think they fixed this via nilbogs post, if its fixed you should let him know =p
