Ok so to clear things up.

I had a group earlier today that was camping the Orc spawn point in Highpass Hold for XP and idol. A random DE Necro with their pet on aggro(Whom I wont name as I am not certain he/she was trying to KS the named mobs) was parked on the ledge with pet so it would aggro whatever mob spawns.

We had been at that camp for well over 4 hours. The individual mentioned that the rules stated something about XP camp over Named camp since the idol is farmed for raids a lot.

This is complete and utter cow pie right?

Also...Great to be back!
Name and shame. Also report his dumbass

Since you were there first, it was your camp.

A lot of you really need to read the rules about camps (most of you have been wrong in your specific points, even while trying to inform others). They have been painstakingly crafted over the course of years because of disputes like this, and are very specific. You can get yourself into trouble or get bullied off valuable camps by unscrupulous players if you don't know your rights.

If a mob moves in any amount it can't be considered a static mob, and therefore is "first to engage" hope this helps. A great example of this would be the gargoyles on specter island in OOT.

wrong. a mob spawn is considered to be static if it always spawns in the same position.

Yep. An example being SK, where Quillmane has multiple spawn areas it can pop in at (open but sort of douchey to screw someone out of all those placeholder kills). Yet while Groi Gutblade always spawns in one spot then starts his path (hands down legal camp).

Well the gargoyles in oot have a static spawn point but wander around, they always spawn in the same 8 or so locations with greater skeletons as ph, but you can't call them or quilmane a camp because they're first to engage. I tend to respect others though if that's what they're after, being polite can go a long way.
