The Ebon Mace clearly stands alone as the best of those; that's why it costs more. The Noctivagant Blade is the most popular because it's a good compromise between power and cost. The Mace of the Shadowed Soul works alright for folks on a restricted budget.
The Venomous Axe is the best for levels 1 through 10 and gives adequate service through the teens due to damage caps. I've also seen a few Shadow Knights use it as a tank weapon in cases where they used a 2-hand weapon for dealing damage. If you want to use a 1H as your main weapon all the time, however, it's clearly worse than the others at any but the lowest levels. As a rule it's really more of a Warrior weapon and a Shadow Knight shouldn't buy one unless he has a specific purpose in mind and knows what he's doing.
