I wonder if it would be possible for them to program the code so it only restricts it IN EC. Or perhaps a limit per time frame. IE: One ooc/shout/auction per 60 seconds or so. That would at least give folks time to easily toss them on ignore without a giant flood happening.

could create a new type of "guide" known as ec hall monitor. give the ability to mute people zone wide. there are plenty of neck beards that spend 12+ hours there, surely someone will do it.
