Not that it matters but I'm a pasty white guy of variable ethnic origin. Mostly scotch/Irish with a hint of Native American. I have no religious affiliation and consider myself atheist.

The muscle group was lucky. It gives out on me from time to time but my hamstrings, hip flexors, calves all work on the left. If you look really closely you might see an antalgic gait, but most doctors and physical therapists would miss it. The thigh itself looks cerebral palsy grade skinny on that side, I used to be really self conscious about it.

But ... I can run, walk, hike. Bike riding can be challenging. I can't squat in the gym but I can leg press and dead lift.

It doesn't get in the way of me acing my military PT test and my body weight will always be ~20 lbs artificially light.

I expect I'll have knee problems as I get older.
