Default MechWarrior Online

Big fan of the MechWarrior titles when I was a kid, so I tried this during beta and had some fun. I saw it on Steam the other day and gave the modern version a shot, and I haven't enjoyed a game this much since Warhammer Online release.

A bunch of *huge* maps, beautiful graphics, and under a minute queue for quick play battles. Even better, they have added a persistent universe for faction warfare where units can claim worlds and have their designation added to the world.

I'm pretty high on the depth of combat mechanics, but this is the first game I have seen in years where the players determine the course of their world(s). Definitely worth looking at if you are a MechWarrior or BattleTech fan.

Mechwarrior was pretty fun back in the day, but no mech game ever had shit on the original Steel Battalion
