Default Minor Illusion doesn't show for people who zoned in after illusion was cast

So I'm putzing around in NFP, mostly AFK, and decide to amuse myself by casting Minor Illusion. I hit F9 to see what I look like. I look like a street lamp. Solid. I go AFK for a bit.

People who have zoned in after I cast Minor Illusion don't see me as a streetlamp. They see me as an Erudite sitting UNDER the world, with only the top of my head poking out of the ground.

I obviously don't have a screenshot, because from my perspective I look like a streetlamp. But I've had several people comment now that it looks like I'm "digging a hole" or that they can only see the top of my head poking out above ground. And all of them zoned in after I cast the spell.

Tree form works for those currently in zone when the spell is cast. Anyone who zones in or relogs sees the person's normal model set about halfway or more into the ground.
