If Nihilum had never been disbanded, Cyren, Terp, and Gongshow would still be taking orders from Nizzar, and Nirgon would still be on blue. And Colgate would still be forumquesting every day about how much of a loser you must be to raid in EQ.

Zerglings needed a home, and Colgate and Gongshow saw an opportunity to make their raiding dreams come true.

There's only one crew that successfully fought Nihilum instead of Joining them. Actually, Cyren Checkraise and Terp tried to fight Nihilum with RD/Force and then gave up and joined Nihilum.

Zergs can only workout if they have leaders devoted to hitting every raid target at spawn point for years on end. An ability only Colgate, Gongshow, and Nizzar had.

Once a zerg is properly established, it's futile to fight them, thus why Gongshow went to Nihilum instead of joining Cyren and Terp in Force to try and fight.
