assuming troll? WoW has always leaned heavily towards the PVE side, expansions were never about the new hot battleground/arena.

Arena's for example came out in TBC iirc? Was that even mentioned on the retail box? If so it was probably a foot note on the back side, TBC was all about Illidan and co.

I'm not a troll just someone who never played wow but always heard from people that the pvp aspect was what set it apart from other mmos.

It HAD decent pvp during tbc and LK but now it's pretty much dead. But Nothing compared to daoc and warhammer

Yeah i tried going back in on this last xpac and couldn't handle it. Was just so awful. I enjoyed the pve part of the new xpac and lvling up but not the pvp and thats what i cared about the most.

Lich King killed world pvp and AV style battlegrounds.

What's skillful about having death knights pull people randomly into a pack of 20+ people to be zerg killed? That's where I got off the bus at least...it was a steady decline since vanilla in pvp terms. Arenas were good for some but come up against a druid and you just had to roll your eyes lol

QFT, granted I never played on a PVP server I'd imagine flying mounts were the end of world pvp. DK's were rather imbalanced for a long while in both pve/pvp.

Druid's time in the pvp sun for sure was TBC bg's and arena's, we ate rogues for breakfast and could easily 1v3 gear depending. I played the heck out of those first few seasons before going raid mode.
