Yeah....lot's of debt as in literally $250,000+ by the time they get they graduate. Ask any doctor if they recommend their kids follow in their footsteps and they will tell you "HHEELLLL NNNOOO"

That's why PA (Physician Assistant) school is so much better: 2 years of school vs 4 years +3+ years residency. You can do 80-90% of the job, get paid nearly $90,000 and not have $250,000 in debt when you start working. You might have $50,000 in debt.
