I just got a boner. Glad to hear someone doing non-fat activities.
They're closing my gym for 2 days as of tomorrow morning so not wanting to miss the opportunity to grind out another level before the server comes down I've decided I'm logging in there tonight.

Pissed that I won't get a full 5 days this week but I might try a 10k on Tuesday morning and see if I can beat my old pre-gym times.

Also 10 days til Vegas, fuck that's going to be good...loving life right now.

There are some great trails in the vicinity of Vegas. Dry heat is nice in comparison to humid heat.

Honestly I was thinking of running from Stratosphere to Mandalay Bay one morning, just to say I'd done it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

That sounds like a great idea, even walking it would be an experience. I use to do a lot of hiking and backpacking. Depending on the trip, some friends and I would do 10-15 miles plus a day and that's with camping gear. But that wasn't in vegas style heat, sure sometimes during the summer but dang. Hope you plan on taking some water with ya! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Safe Trip dude!

hiking & backpacking owns. don't really need to go to the gym since i get plenty of strength training at my job, but i don't get a lot of cardio/endurance and it's a great way to fill the gaps. a couple years ago i went from barely being able to make my way up a 9.5mi/4k gain training hike, to running up it with 20lb of gear and water ballast in my pack not breaking a sweat in the dead of winter in a matter of months. savin up for a nice hammock and underquilt now, shit's a game changer if you use tents or tarp-tents and live around trees.

fuck though, i wouldn't even leave my house if i lived in vegas. can't do the heat. love me some cold weather hiking, but i have a hard time motivating myself when it's hot as fuck and the bugs are out. sunburn's a bitch.

terrible idea, that's one of the many multicultural parts of Vegas. Had a homie get mugged doing that walk not long ago. Don't risk it buddy.

Man its been a good week. I went to the gym as usual all weel, I wasn't feeling so good today after I got off the treadmill... was sweaty as always but had that cold chill that sometimes means you're ill or running a fever. So I took it easier on the bike and cross trainer compared to usual.

Yesterday I went to the biggest shopping mall near me to buy some shit for Vegas - things like clothes etc. I also took my laptop/netbook thing along so I could sit down in somewhere like Starbucks and type to my nerd friends in RNF while sipping an expensive coffee that I can't spell.

Life is good. I imagine it was just another day in welfare land for some, or a day at work that wasn't enjoyable for others.

There's no limits on what you can accomplish in life if you put your mind to it.

Start something new before Christmas, a new hobby, play on red instead

I don't usually go in on the weekend but I'm going to tomorrow as Vegas is next Wednesday and I'll be out of that routine for 7 days :s

Start something new before Christmas, a new hobby, play on red instead of blue, learn a new instrument, volunteer at a local charity, quit your zerg guild...or there's many other things.
