"But contrary to some advertising claims that the vapor is harmless, the CEH found alarmingly high levels of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde, known carcinogens that increase cancer risk, getting sucked into “vapers' ” lungs. An independent laboratory analysis looked at 97 e-cigarette products from two dozen manufacturers and found most emit higher levels of these cancer-causing gases than allowed under California’s Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986."

"The CEH study comes after similar results were announced in January in the New England Journal of Medicine. That study was criticized by e-cigarette manufacturers for allegedly using unrealistically high temperatures to heat the e-liquids that couldn’t be achieved by using the devices as instructed. But the CEH said its research was done through smoking machines designed to replicate how the devices are used, and they still found the high levels of carcinogens."
I really don't get why people can't just wear a pouch.

He's dumb, it's a misconception for it to get to that TEMPERATURE you would have to take a 100 second hit. No one can take even a 20 second hit. It just propaganda.
Sorry but no. This is the 2nd independent study that has been done.

Since I know you just copy and pasted your quote from another site without actually looking into what you were posting, you should know that the study your referring to is not backed by any numbers. You cant even call your study flawed because if you actually look where the study came from, the people behind this say they outsourced it to another company and then proceed to give no data from the study, (and the study isnt even published in any scientific journal). The results of the study, possibly the entire reason for the study in the first place, is just a list of companies that that they warn against buying from (not even saying which products were tested/should be avoided).

Here is a real study, backed by data, and published more recently:

http://www.sciencedirect.com/science...21967315010821

It is a long read, but basically they found that the e-cigarettes tested did not have the VOC's in the smoke except nicotine. This study is backed by numbers and is a real scientific study unlike what you provided. If you can find any confounds in the study you should post them here.

Agreed....trade your cigs or your vaping stuff for a decent diet and a gym membership - you'll live longer.

What exactly were the levels of said carcinogens found in the vapor? How does this compare to an average air sample in California? What brands did they use? What flavorings were present in those liquids? What type of devices did they use to vaporize them?

nicotine is gross

it's a small light headed buzz that last 15 seconds on the first smoke of the day and the rest is just addiction/habitual

also stinks

if you are buying bubble gum flavored vape, it's because you agree it's gross, so why lie to yourself
