I saw 1 - 3 in the theater at release midnight. I don't mind saying it. Yes, I didn't mind them either, but by the time Revenge of the Sith was released, I knew the whole story line of the movie, which didn't deter me from seeing it.
I knew the only way the Sith were to get away with what they did was to have Yoda be off planet. That was beyond obvious, so when it happened in the movie, I wasn't surprised. I was surprised at how they played that out though. Yoda saying he had good relations with the Wookies. I am disappointed it didn't show more of Anakin killing. I really wanted to see Vader go through the Temple and kill everything, including 2 master jedis. There is a good read regarding this on starwars.com, but I wanted to have a movie visual. Oh well. I am really hoping they make a movie about Vader. I want to see exactly what he did to hunt down the remaining Jedi and destroy everything in his way. Of course there were times he did suffer and I want to see that in a nice 2 or 2.5 hour movie.

Han Solo was young but also mature, same for Leia. Daisey Ridley and Driver just scream millennial hipster to me, and it detracts from the Star Wars feel but Disney needs their monies worth from everyone, not just the "fans". At least the black dude doesn't have that young milennial/hipster look to him. Even luke in Episode 4 looked a tad more mature in a "I'm very young, but you can also tell I'm destined for greater purpose" type of look. Ridley can pass for underage and looks like she just got her learners permit, maybe this is intentional but far cry from very young but mature Leia. Driver looks like he just turned legal drinking age, hoping it works but not the best casting for a young sith. Oscar Isaac is the only main character casting that is dead-on classic Star Wars to me. They nailed this role big time. Looking forward to seeing what he can do with the role. Even very excited you might say. Bringing up the Thrawn Trilogy being passed over is going to rustle some jimmies and create bad feels. Why u do this lol.

I take that part about Adam Driver back.
He's matured a lot since 2010 the past few years and actually looks like good casting. I hadn't been following him and rushed to judgement. Will have to wait and see what hes bringing to the film.
