Apologies if this spoils, but it was cool how it showed humanity breaking down in the face of the crisis. Some giving up, some fighting til the bitter end. If you remember - they did not kill Susan (the neighbor zombie that the military took out) but how it escalated from that was decent in regards of how some can keep it together (or attempt to) and others just think they can cut ties & go it alone.

A couple questions:

At the end, what was the red stuff in the ocean?

If zombie blood is enough to infect humans, why hasn't any of TWD cast been 'turned'?
Red stuff in the ocean is a form of algae called "toxic red algae" or "Red tide"

I'd like to know why they haven't turned either, with blood splatters and all the zombie killing.

Hey thanks, yea, I had heard of red tides & certain algae causing such events before but wasn't sure if it was just there @ the time of shooting or put in to look like a new way the infection would spread.
The fish would be zombies too, leading to them trying to be catching & eating them, to turn zombie or it was just....a normal red tide floating by in the last few scenes.
Not trying to kill off the characters of the show. I think it just gave a foreboding look with it washing across the last few scenes.

Red tide would be the only real world logical explanation that I have. At least I saw no mass blender that could cause that much blood from zombies to pour into the ocean lol.

Well it very well could be. I don't know if you've ever seen redtide but it's absolutely creepy as heck, so if it was just a coincidence that it was happening during shooting then I'm sure they loved the timing. It's a great thing to add into the show.

Boating through it is pretty crummy also, leaves my boat with a reddish tint color

That season started slow but was far better than any of the walking dead before it. I enjoyed the last 3 episodes a lot! So theres going to be a third airplane show? Or is that just a short film for fun?

I've swam threw green algae in the oceans & lakes before but was never close up to red tide. Well, aside from looking out from the beach and seeing it floatin over the waves; not in a research lab / microscope though.

Does your boat have an EQ type name?
