Find someone you can duo with and work from there. I probably had it a bit easier since I play a cleric, but I'd just log in and watch OOC for a LFG chanter, monk, war, mage, etc and then shoot them and tell to figure out where we could duo. Then just add people if you see more LFGs or if other groups zone in. Did 55-60 in a week or two.

If you just hang out near popular zones like KC, Velks, or Sol B, you might find groups, but more than likely you'll just spend your time getting harassed. If you just want to exp without dealing with pvp head to out of the way zones. I got most of my exp 50+ in chardok and HS. I did at least 4 full levels in HS and only saw two other people (e.g. not me or person I was duoing with) zone in the entire time. Definitely have to bring your own group, but not having to worry about getting attacked every 5 minutes like in velks or KC is worth the extra time it takes to organize the group.

As a war I'd try to make as many chanter, shaman, and cleric friends as you can and just start duos and trios from people youve grouped with before.
