As I eagerly await kunark, has anyone ever found an mmo like eq i could do in the meantime? Meaning

1. difficulty
2. outstanding group play which makes the grind fun. no instances so youre sharing the dungeon and developing community
3. requires CC. ive found games that dont...its just a button smashing fest
4. each spell or ability cast is important. each one takes thought, not like the current MMOs ive been playing where again, its a button mashing contest. for example, here as an enchanter I get very few casts per battle which makes every decision a potential gamebreaker.

Ive tried alot of them, but hoping maybe you could point me towards one I have not.

Ragnarok Online is as close as it gets.

It's more pvp centric, though. Completely different view, class system, etc. too.

But as far as high-end PVE goes, it's close to EQ in difficulty.
