Ok any chance we can get a GM/Dev to clarify if this will happen like classic or not? One of my toons has all Shralok Packs(they were easy to camp at his low level for bags and they hold giant items) so even if they go lore for a day he will lose a good portion of his gear and items in his inventory and bank. Its hard to tell how things will work out with the patches so it would be great for some clarification.

I imagine they'll just leave it pending lore for all time. Unless they really want to have them poof and then spend the next few weeks/months doing item recovery.
