Yeah the game is in beta so hackers gonna hack. But the dev team made some big changes to help and by the time I quit playing it was much better.

If you're trying to be top dog they are an issue, if you're ok being mediocre it's a blast and you will rarely get hacked.

Sorcerer King is awesome. The reviews on Steam are pretty positive; I always check those out first. My experience with it is that the heroes you can choose are diverse enough to feel different and it's quite rewarding to both build an army, level up the soldiers in it, and craft equipment that they wear.

You have a leader that does not participate in battles, but has important stats and spells, and then you have heroes and soldiers that you fight with, level up, and equip.

If you are a fan of the genre, it's definitely worth playing.

Haven't finished PoE either, just picked it up really, but the story is dark and awesome, combat is good, and it actually feels like an RPG.

Mortal Online is now available on Steam as of the 31st of August. I'm going to give it a try. MMORPG with perma-death. The Steam reviews are glorious; many enraged nerds leaving negative reviews.

My pal says it's a bit clunky though, so I am not expecting much. At least it's Free to Play.
