No reason to leave, have a friendly neighbourhood iksar trade his plat for your gold/silver...and if you've grouped with anyone in Kurn's Tower I'm sure they'll agree to buy you a few spells in town. Saves a long journey back, the only thing you might miss depending on your level is something like "dodge" which won't affect much anyway, particularly if you're grouped.
