1705 gun crimes ... making the average 142 per month in London (and up 10% versus the same period the year previously)

Doesn't sound a lot, but in a country without guns, that's 4-5 a day on average - and I think that's bad. If you want to play Police Commissioner and tell me "that's nothing", it isn't.
