To be fair, ive seen her report a couple times, she was quite the "character" when it came to racial discussion.

I hate to post this on the internet, but afa home defense goes.. I would argue a shotgun with 'illegal' modifications to make it easy to move around indoors, loaded with less than lethal rounds would be ideal. This can prevent bullets from killing your neighbor and hopefully not end some misguided teenagers life who wanted to steel $40 worth of my wife's beanie baby collection while he thought we were away from the house so he could get high, an effect of youths having nobody to turn to talk to in this nation if they come from a less than ideal family situation and need guidance. Also the sound of a shotgun cocking will make most trespassers flee pretty quickly.

It all comes down to one thing, if you are ok with killing people for any reason. I'm one of those people you guys love to hate, that cant get behind that.

Luckily for my cause, it will win out, our liberal values ALWAYS do.. they just take time, time for your children & grandchildren to grow up and continue to make the world a better place than it was a generation before them.

PS rog I was just cringing at our leader talking about guns in relation to the human body and how bullets affect people on impact lol

But i mean with at least 2 shots to the head and neck, Youd think someone would at least drop from the impact or pain. Hell, little rocks hurt like hell going 50fps.
Last Deer I got:

The bullet went directly through the lung, hit the bottom part of the heart and through the other lung.

The deer jumped up and hopped up the hill for about 10 seconds trying to flee before it stiffened and fell.

Sorry about being graphic, but ya the only time you would see someone or something drop right away is if you severed a spine or tendons...and the list goes on.

EDIT:

First deer I got I shot in the spine right at the shoulder blades. I disabled it's 2 front legs immediately and it ran/hopped off on its back legs.

Or a headshot. If it's strong enough to go through the skull (some animals have thick skulls).

If you put a hole in it's heart then it won't be able to keep pressure throughout its body, but if you hit 1 lung...ya, those things will go....and fast.

Best thing to do is pull that bolt back asap, and load another and DO NOT GET BUCK FEVER!

I heard from a buddy that a friend of his shot a black bear at about 200 yards with a 300 Win Mag. Damn bear ran off.

He followed, shot and killed it and found that the first shot hit the forehead and skinned along the bone instead of penetrating. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

That is sad.
