Let's say you get your direct answer you want.

Which is probably something like: "Luclin mobs left in TOV lol, and loot tables have been nerfed to slow down consumption of content so you pigs can't burn out."

There's simply no benefits to the project in starting a non-classic VS classic fight again over something like this.

6 items from bosses was during a time when server loads were 3k persistent with 5-6 huge guilds competing.

Free-farming 6 items from a majority of bosses (per Legacy of Steel 2002 screenshots) sounds gross to me, even for 3 guilds on blue rotation... it would be gross.
But lets get rid of buff timers because it's classic.

Ah.... thanks for sharing. I have nothing to add. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

@Jaybone:

I am sad about buff timers. I really liked that feature. I'd call it a QoL feature. It's not necessary, but it sure was nice.

I'd like to also add if GM's are changing classic drop rates and leaving luclin mobs in nToV, please re-add buff timers. Also I still miss compass. Thanks.

Nothing is more classic than the butt Pickering that occurs when your levitate begins flashing as you're 1000 miles above Dreadlands running and you can't see the ground.

Or the face palm of gathering a quad kite only to have your SoW drop before you snare everything.

Hasn't Kunark taught us that there is no saturation point with raid loot?

HAHAH! Happened to me once (Levitate). Lucky for me I clicked bag, clicked lev ring, put in bag slot, F1, right click....

I still had about 20' to go. I was good.... [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Any reason why raid mobs are dropping less loot? done on purpose? Any better explanation?

I'm relatively new to P99 but with the release of Velious and the hypocrisy of some things the devs do here is irritating. Why would they use the reasoning of "it's classic" on inane things like spell timers, yet ignore the blatantly classic dropping of greater number of items on huge raid bosses?

There's no justifiable reason for them to ignore this. Where's a reasonable explanation from nilbog?

Because saying "We do what want with or without reason or explanation" is less PC then saying 'its classic" or its "not classic." It's also the reason the community has been given for years.
