Are roleplayers not allowed on Red99 anymore?

I received a disturbing message today friends. GM's and other staff have been banning people who are roleplayers and encourage violence against groups of ingame races such as gnomes, high elves, barbarians and erudites, calling it "hatespeech and racism." Staff can we receive a clear message regarding the legality of such gameplay? Roleplaying is a classic and valuable mechanic that many players immerse themselves in.

lol maybe because it's thinly veiled racism, but you can prove me wrong when you show me the player who got banned for being racist against a Gnome, High Elf, or Barbarian.

P.s. this would hardly be a problem if there was no terrible unclassic global ooc to use as an unclassic platform for role playing. If this was confined to the zone of the role player it would be a lot more classic and would mean level 1 first timers would be a lot less exposed to it. The place might even seem normal.

/ooc is classic, if Ocean of Tears /ooc wasn't just like p99 red /ooc the server you played on probably sucked and was full of lames. also if you never got too drunk and fell off the boat you weren't playing this game right. hth

(Though I'd add that on Tarew Marr, up as far as PoP, I never saw OOC that resembled R99's crap. If you think that means it was "full of lames," okay, but it sure seemed like a stable community to me.)

I don't understand why someone would be displeased with being referred to as a fantasy race of superior intellect. I've been called a Vulcan before and was pretty happy actually ^^ Whether it was intended as praise or not is largely irrelevant because it connotes a quality I along with society hold in high regard: smarts! ^^
