HQ Bear Skin (and who drops them)
A little confused about this - http://wiki.project1999.com/High_Quality_Bear_Skin
The wiki does not include any of the Karanas, though it has brown bears and I believe grizzlies as well. It does however, include Qeynos Hills (a brown bear). To further add to the confusion if you actually click "A Brown Bear" entry http://wiki.project1999.com/A_brown_bear HQ Skins are not on the list of possible loot for it but it is there on the entry for A Black Bear which is the same level. Is this just more hate on us west-coasters? Thanks in advanced for any info you can provide. | ||

Hey, thanks for your replies. I didn't update it because I honestly don't know if brown bears can drop the HQ pelts, or what the drop % is.

The brown bears , Grizzlies in Qeynos hills , Karanas all can drop them.
The polar bear cubs in ever frost can also drop them along withe regular polar bears.

As far as I know, any bear can drop any quality of bear skin.
But only Polar Bears and Cubs crop Polar Bear Skins

The best place to hunt the pelts is Rathe Mountains by the unkempt druids. Probably 20 bears in that area.
