This is true. One of the reasons GG started to struggle was lite pushing the guild to go head on against empire. Strydur and vapo were making all the right calls with camping out pvp and avoiding it. Deny empire the fun of pvp and waste their time while you play alts as there is no point getting killed.

Unless people from empire leave to join the underdog the only way a guild can catch up is if they gear to their capacity and their members want to pvp the top guild above all else. Contesting is the last few steps of guild progression for the #2 guild and is a very risky one.

Lite so bad at pvp and leading guilds, he just won the position by default because nobody wanted to put in time to organise a competing guild i guess. I know 1/10th of EQ that he does, but he makes bad calls id never make, just as his lieutenant Andis did. Andis had us sit in Lavastorm, gathering to attack Sol B lol, master tactician. I even told him what was gonna happen, naw. Its Lite's ego, its like a supermassive blackhole, even light cant escape that shit.
