I think I've been to Cab once on my rogue in 3 years lol. As a rogue, faction doesn't mean too much to us. As long as there's no mob watching you, you can use to sneak bank and vendor. If you're quick (and lucky), it doesn't matter if you're being watched as long as you get hide back up before the server notices you.

My gnome rogue has been allied in Cab since the first time I went there to zone a train at level 40. Have no idea why, but it turned out to be very useful. I was always able to resupply very close to com and guards helped me kill any of the Iksars I found in my range.

Having cab faction is not useless. (well it might be now that velious is out)

I did my epic at 48-51 on red. It took forever, but I learned a lot doing it. Got to know my guildies better and felt super accomplished once I had it completed. Highly recommend doing your own epic.

Doing my own epic was probably the most personally rewarding thing I've done in P99.

If raiding gave me that same feeling, I'd probably use my rogue a lot more than I do.

So I'm trying to pickpocket the gms now. I tried the DE one last night about 20 times and got instagibbed once by all the npcs (even on the roof). Hopefully I can get it later today without more deaths. My skill is about 185 atm. Wish me luck!

In regards to pickpocketing the pages, there is no minimum PP skill required. Someone might have beat you to it and the page was not on Tani. You might want to wait for him to respawn to make sure he has it. This is what I had to do with Founy in Kaladim. I tried and failed a few time with mad dashes to the zoneline. I finally figured I would wait for him to repsawn and got it on my second PP attempt after he popped.

If you've pick pocketed him down to silver, he doesn't have it. Wait for depop/repop.

I just keep getting pickpocket attempt failed, no gold/silver/copper, no items... this is even after they've repopped.

You may be getting exceptionally unlucky with loot tables, since in my experience that means they're out of items to steal.

Just remember they both despawn every day at 7am game time, and respawn again at 8am.

The Delf GM was always the stingiest with the parchment - I never had a problem with Founy on the many epics I've quested but for some reason that damn elf. . .sometimes took the better part of a week to get his piece.
