A Moment of Appreciation

Let's all take a minute here to appreciate all the hard work that has been put forth by Rogean, Devs, GMs, etc., to make Velious possible. I'd love to hear some of your favorite parts of Velious so far below [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Last night I hunted in Kael Drakkel and fell in love with the scale of the place. It reminded me of the ettin's fortress from The Silver Chair, by C.S. Lewis. The description of being a small creature in this enormous city built for giants always charmed me as a child, and being able to actually experience that in a game was breathtaking.

The only other game to have made me feel that sense of scale and grandeur was Dark Souls, but this experience was even better because I was able to experience it with friends [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I know our staff didn't design Kael, but I appreciate that you have enabled us to experience this again, or in my case, for the first time.
