No, there are too many dependencies and most pieces of the UI will not work by themselves.

I posted on Duxa thread and got this response so i guess I'll need to keep looking.

I experimented with this a little bit earlier and could not get the percentage going in my inventory window.

It's fairly easy to get the EXP bar and percentages to show up in your player window and should only require modifying one file, I think.
