Default Mac's Kilts in Halas

Some players can not pass through the doorway at Mac's Kilts in Halas. At one point, it dropped a barbarian into the ground waist deep while attempting. I've summoned inside, and they are not able to exit the door. This happened to a Halfling a couple days ago.

I am able to pass at GM speed easily. When I walk, I get hung up at the door a second, but am able to pass through.

I had two Erudites try for me. One female character had no problem. The other male character was hung up going in and out but was able to, eventually.

One barbarian, no problem at all. Another barbarian I had to summon both in and out.

None of my test subjects had sow.

It's related to frames per second.

All players should be using around ~50 fps. It makes gameplay smoother, and stops issues like this.

alt+O, somewhere on a slider bar.

Default Halas - Mac's Kilts door "blocked"

Mac's Kilts in Halas appears to have a pathing bug with the door. Seems that there is an invisible wall of some sort in the doorway after opening the door to move into the store. Confirmed on multiple computers with both my account and my wife's account.

Only way to pass through the entrance after opening the door is to stand against the invisible wall and jump then move forward.

Thanks,

Sil

Decrease your FPS to somewhere around 40-50. Try again.

For anyone that reads this, I highly recommend decreasing your FPS for other reasons as well. Higher FPS does not help in this game.

Default Dwarf can't get into Mac's Kilts in Halas.

As the title says. I am a Dwarf. I go to Mac's Kilts in Halas, open the door, can't get in. As if an invisible door still remains. Barbarians do not seem to have the same problem.

Modifying FPS supposedly fixes this for some people as a temp fix.

Thanks, but "modifying FPS" is way beyond my technical expertise [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I'll look it up.

Hit alt o to bring up options. Goto Display tab and turn down the FPS.
