Ive noticed this from parents. Solutions are there, but would they even want the solutions if it was right under their nose? Like i cant imagine my uncle under any circumstances giving up his porsche for public transit, no matter how efficient.

Theyll never stop eating meat, even if it means no more amazon rain forest, lungs of the planet.

Stuff like this makes me think were done already, unless when the shit really hits the fan there will still be some room for readjustment.

This is why liberal fascism (basically star trek TNG, not Hitler) is the necessary political system to counter the bacterial impulses of humanity, and the only one capable of doing it. Population reduction through controls on birth rate is basically the best way to solve all of Earth's problems, but Western oligarchic republics are incapable of doing this because muh rights. Too busy with complete and utter self-absorption and wanton consumption of land and natural resources to fuel GDP growth.
