Man the gear currently for launch is borked. I hope they fix all the gear from 40-50, to make the stats more in line with everything else from 1-40. Item stats basically double in the last 10 levels. kinda messed.


Also there is no point on trying to test anything in pvp on current pvp servers, because item stats and abilities are beyond fucked for the first tiers. Hopefully this shit will be squared away on beta otherwise they might as well name the server "Scoutsland"

I'm just going to play around on a few classes to see what I like to play. I won't worry as much about picking the most OP.

There are a lot of classes that are appealing to me.

Brigand/Swash
Coercer/Illy
Warden
Troub/Dirge

I am the same way. I just know that the majority of people who play or have played on naggy or vox will pick the OP classes. So expect a shitload of brigands, SKs, Rangers and Wardens.

I want to roll paladin, but I also am considering rolling a tracking class.

You drastically over estimate how hard platinum and items are to track down when you are running and in control of all of that data that enters and leaves the server you are running. It takes time, but it is in no way impossible or a barrier to stopping RMT from major buyers and suppliers, hence why every 6 months or so they ban 20-30 people.

Now, are there people that are overlooked. On purpose, otherwise? Possible.

Dude the last two RMT banwaves resulted in over 400 accounts being banned each time. Now "20 or 30." HUGE difference there when looking at this issue objectively.
