game is wow'ish in terms of quest hubs and bg's in its current state.

if its true prog, the quests won't be enough to sustain you and it will be better to form a group and camp a dungeon. bg's have already been confirmed as 'never' being implemented

no bg + progression-server population on a pvp server? war is coming

very little bearing on what will happen in classic other than the fact that i'm 90% sure they will keep ability progression in its current, unclassic state. we won't be lv 95/100, but class balance will remain about what it is currently

initial reading suggests a very strong diversity among successful pvp classes, with a few especially shining classes, and some notable support roles not represented by high kills or kdr ranking

switch option to "nagafen" for open world-skewed statistics. unfortunately nagafen open world pvp is pretty dead these days from what i understand so its mainly bg stats that are displayed

The server needs to behind the pay wall due to the voting mechanic to unlock xpacs or release content if nothing else.

Wow this game looks hard. That swashbuckler had like 40 abilities and he was using them all.

There's a lot of hotkeying but he has a lot of buttons he isn't using that aren't hotkeyyed to spam his group when there's pvp or use his mount etc. Lots of extra clickies available to him. But still quite a few buttons.

Just downloaded beta update, going swashbuckler. I played at eq2 release but only played a few weeks before switching to wow. I don't even remember eq2 having pvp, looking forward to it.

so monks are more tank in eq2 vs dps of eq1? is there any op ass items like tstaff in classic eq2? so many classes with so many abilities. ive been on eq1 so long not even sure im ready for this.
