I leveled up a ranger to like level 80 when that was the max level, very fun class based around ranged damage instead of the garbage class they made it in EQ1. I think all the classes are kinda fun. I remember beastlords being pretty solid when they did that free character giveaway thing like 6 months ago, not sure where they are in the list now.

My dad and i solod every contested raid mob and a few instances during eq2s release due to them being able to cast everything on the run and there was no in/out of combat movespeed differences. Shit was gr8.

Even after nerfs they remained a good class that was a top 3 dps depending on the xpac. Always top 5 tho.

Beastlords wont be available til Age of Discovery. At least I hope so.

I know they were talking about leaving in the added classes, since they are things you gotta buy they want people to have access to them. I don't really see too much harm in it.
