Why is this particular name change a big deal? Isn't it because Colgate's name being left unchanged is supposedly an example of GM favoritism? However, a staff member who isn't Sirken just explained the reasoning behind the decision not to change Colgate's name, which was not just about the university but also about the player's reputation, good or bad. So, if people are trying to prove gm favoritism, Colgate's name shouldn't be the battleground.

if a staff member who normally doesnt handle name changes had to be expressly asked to handle a certain person, isnt that proof enough that there is an issue?
is it not favoritism to have one gm handle potential name changes, and a different one, who views the threshold differently, be asked to handle any who he might be friends with?
