Should you be trading a large amount of items, like 10-20 spells at a time, open a trade, pick up item 1, hit U, pick up item 2, hit U, etc.

Saves a lot of time dragging and dropping them into item windows. Since you need to move your mouse far less.

So please - Stop the autofire trade accusations!
so this means i wasted all the effort with trade skills?

24 hours, 6 pages, so much information already!

I just learned that a mob resisting your spell still seems to cause as much "hate" as the full effect (damage in my case).

Not sure if it actually causes 100% the hate as not resisting though.

Does anyone know if it's a spell's max effect that is used when generating "hate" or is it the actual affect the spell has?

I have also learned that you cannot type an apostrophe in chat by using the actual apostrophe key, but more interestingly, when you cast a spell on a corpse it says something like "you try to cast a spell on a hermitscorpse but they are protected".

The poor a hermit doesn't even own his corpse!

I have seen a guild mate say "can't" in guild chat, but the mystery escapes me.

Mystery apostrophe, why do you taunt me?!

If you type the apostrophe first it puts whatever you are saying into /say

You should be able to use it regularly any other time.

Most of these I've known for a while but I think they're relatively unknown tidbits that might be useful for newer players. Except for /pet feign, that one I learned recently.

Yeah, some of the abreviations are horrid like Howling Stones is charasis, Gorge of King Xorbb is beholder, etc.
Charasis is actually the original name for the city, it's not some weird abbreviation.

/who all corpse
will list out the corpses you have and what zones they are in. It may only work if you're in the zone of the corpse(s) though.

/who all count
will list the current number of logged in players

typing /pet feign twice quickly (or just make a macro) will make your pet perform it's death animation but is otherwise the same as /pet sit. Useful for when the tank in your group doesn't understand that he's trying to attack a charmed pet.

/rtarget will autotarget the last person to send you a tell. Incredibly useful when playing a buff class.

Ctrl+clicking a stacked item will only remove 1 item from the stack. This also works for ctrl+clicking the buy button on a merchant selling a stack of items.

Giving a charmed pet an offhand only item (like a torch) will make it dual wield. Useful for charm classes that don't want to carry around a ton of weapons just to make their pets dual wield. Giving a charmed pet -MR gear will increase charm duration. Giving a charmed pet a 2 handed weapon and an offhand only item will force the pet to use the 2 handed weapon and dual wield (useful if you want to give your pet a 2 handed weapon that procs but also want the DPS from dual wielding).

Most high end players know this but instaclickies ala Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring will reset your global spell cooldown, enabling you to cast spells quicker. The spell effect from the instaclick doesn't even need to take effect to reset the cooldown timer, so for example using jboots when you already have SoW will not overwrite SoW but it will reset your global spell cooldown, as long as you are outdoors. This is incredibly useful for shamans who want to quickly buff a player with a variety of buffs, or to quickly cannibalize down. By memorizing Canni 2 and Canni 3 they are able to cast Canni 2, click their instaclick, cast Canni 3, click their instaclick, and repeat.

I would really like to start compiling this stuff into the OP, but the edit button is gone.

Is there a way I could do that?

Be VERY Careful here. The Titanium client supports extra Gem slots through the Mnemonic Retention AA. It is possible to memorize a spell to the 9th Spell Gem slot by pressing Alt + 9 with a spell from your Spellbook on your cursor.
You can mem a spell to this 9th slot but you cannot cast from it (it immediately interrupts you). Which means if you mem a spell to that slot that you actually need to cast you will have to die to un-mem it.

If someone knows a command to un-mem spells PLEASE let me know. I've only done this once before and death was the only solution I found.
It obeys your key bindings, unbind alt+9 and you won't have to worry about it.

I learned that buying out an item from a vendor with a full stock will show other items that have been sold to them when you refresh the buy/sell window. I also learned that this is a great way to waste a buttload of money looking for runes. I also found some ~100p lowbie gear for 5p though, so I guess it was a wash.

Today I learned to never trust run speed after a patch without checking the forums first. I died a brutal, violent death in T.D. Got a good laugh out of raptors keeping up with me and getting stunned and wrecked.
