No, he said lute, not flute. The lull song is strings based.

Your flute is still just as useless aside from invis/levitate if you don't have the bard epic.

Otherwise - I am pretty sure that the "A hermit" in Southern Karana has his self buffs delayed based on something to do with the weapon he spawns with.

If he spawns without a weapon, it's immediate, the slower the weapon, the longer he takes to start casting his buffs.

I could've sworn there was a point in time when the bard Faction song was able to be modified by Wind. But alas, I don't recall when nor do I have evidence for this [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

At level 60 it's I think a +600 Faction mod. Sky flute bumps that to 1320, CT Flute to 1440, Puretoned to +1680?

Before pulling the 4 Emperor guards would usually lead to a critical resist, in the last two times I've done that camp, the only mob that has critically resisted has been the Emperor himself. There's no statistics done, I haven't fought enough mobs (nor taken detailed enough logs to verify when I lute vs. when I do not) to generate statistics. But my gut is convinced, so I'll continue using my lute on high level lull checks (besides, it doesn't harm anything to swap out).

You could be correct. I don't seem to remember the flute impacting faction song last time I tried on P99 though. However, I could have been at a bad starting point in which swapping in the flute did not affect the faction level.

creates a macro, i had always used alt+m and clicked socials tab then > then right click on a blank button to create one.

/hot owns for creating assist macros:

/hot assist 0 /assist <person>

0 sets the color of the macro with zero being black, I don't remember what they all map to but I think it goes up to like 10. I think there's a way to make it multiline as well but I'm not sure how.
